Hidden gem of Xi'an!
Hanyangling is criminally underrated! The glass floor walkways are incredible—you look directly down into the burial pits. The Han figurines are so delicate and beautiful, completely different from the Terracotta Warriors. Less crowded and more intimate. Our guide was excellent. Highly recommend for anyone interested in Chinese history!

Bellissimo! Unique museum experience
The underground museum design is brilliant! Walking on glass above the burial pits gives you a perspective you can't get at the Terracotta Warriors. Fascinant! Better than expected
We almost skipped Hanyangling but I'm so glad we didn't! The glass walkways are thrilling and the figurines are stunning. The museum is modern and well-curated. Less touristy than the Terracotta Warriors. Perfect for a half-day tour. We also visited Yuanjiacun Folk Village for lunch—great combination!

Interesting alternative to Terracotta Warriors
Hanyangling offers a different perspective on ancient Chinese burial customs. The glass floors are a clever design feature. The Han figurines are more delicate than the Qin warriors. Smaller site but less crowded. Good for visitors who want to go beyond the main tourist attractions. Recommended!
