Hidden Gems of China
This tour showed us a different side of China - the rice terraces, the ethnic minority villages, and the Li River cruise were all incredible. The food in Guangzhou was amazing! Our guide introduced us to local families which made the experience very authentic.
Authentic Cultural Immersion
The Longji Rice Terraces were breathtaking, especially at sunset. We stayed in a traditional wooden house in a Zhuang village - such a unique experience! The Li River bamboo rafting was peaceful and scenic. The Cantonese cuisine was the best I've ever had.
Beautiful but Hot
Southern China is absolutely beautiful with its karst landscapes and rice terraces. The ethnic minority cultures were fascinating. Be prepared for the heat and humidity in summer though! The guide was excellent at finding shaded spots and planning around the weather.
